About Us - Mayhemcode | Tech, AI, Crypto, Gaming & Science Blog

Once a new technology rolls over you, if you're not part of the steamroller, you're part of the road.

Who We Are

Mayhemcode started in 2021 as a small side project by a group of Computer Science students who wanted an outlet for their curiosity about tech. What began as a way to kill boredom between classes has grown into a blog read by a monthly audience across Tech, Computer Science, AI, Crypto, Gaming, and Science.

We are not a large newsroom. We are a small team of writers and contributors who genuinely enjoy breaking down complicated tech topics, testing new tools and hardware, and explaining what is actually happening behind the headlines, whether that is a new LLM release, a GPU comparison, a crypto market shift, or a space mission update.

What We Cover

Mayhemcode focuses on five core areas:

  • Technology – gadgets, product breakdowns, software tools, and how-to guides for everyday tech problems
  • Artificial Intelligence – local LLMs, AI hardware requirements, model comparisons, prompt engineering, and practical AI usage guides
  • Computer Science – programming languages, system design, DevOps, cybersecurity, and software engineering concepts explained simply
  • Crypto – blockchain fundamentals, market news, and developments in Web3 and decentralized finance
  • Gaming and Science – gaming hardware, industry news, space exploration, and science stories that connect to the tech world

You will notice a strong lean toward AI and local computing lately, from best GPUs for running LLMs to comparisons between models like Claude, GPT, and open-source alternatives. This reflects where the tech world is heading, and where our readers' interests are too.

Why Mayhemcode

There is no shortage of tech blogs online, so here is what we try to do differently:

  • We test before we write. Guides on running local models, choosing hardware, or setting up tools are based on real usage, not just spec sheets.
  • We keep it simple. Technical topics are explained in plain English, so both technical and non-technical readers can follow along.
  • We stay current. Tech, and especially AI, moves fast. We aim to publish timely breakdowns of new releases, changes, and trends rather than stale, recycled content.
  • We are transparent about AI use. While we use AI tools to assist with research, editing, and paraphrasing, we do not publish fully AI-generated articles. Every post reflects real human research and judgment.

Our Team

Mayhemcode is run by Mahesh Gupta along with a small group of regular contributors who write across our core categories. We also welcome guest writers and collaborators who share our interest in making tech, AI, and science genuinely useful and understandable.
